Another new product on the cigarette market is Chapman cigarettes. It is written on the packet that they are “made in Germany”, at the Von Eiken factory. But no information about this brand was found on the official website.

Anyway, I tried the whole line, and it consists of four varieties: Classic, Brown, Gold and Red. First of all, I will tell you about the points that are the same in all varieties, so as not to repeat myself. So, all varieties of these cigarettes are packed in packs with “sharp” corners, for 20 cigarettes. Cigarettes with filter, king size format. The peculiarity of the pack is its coating, it’s matte-roughened. I do not remember such a coating in any brand. Each packet carries brief accompanying information about the composition of cigarettes. All cigarettes have tobacco-colored paper, a wide fluted “gold” ring and a “pearl” filter. Cigarettes of different varieties do not differ from each other in appearance – the name of the brand on the filter and that’s all.

Chapman Classic. The pack smells like cigarette filters. The cigarette itself gives off a faint, but still tobacco flavor. On the packet it says: “The classic blend composition is achieved by using high quality Virginia and Burley tobaccos.” This composition corresponds to the american blend bag and the color of the fractions from light yellow to brown corresponds to this bag.

When smoking, the strength feels medium or slightly lower. The flavor is quite tobacco, the smoke is soft. True, the cigarette burns quickly, but this property has almost all modern brands.

Bottom line: decent cigarettes with a pleasant flavor. The price of $ 5.8 does not cause rejection, these cigarettes are worthy.

Chapman Brown. The inscription on the packet “The original blend is made from carefully selected Virginia tobacco varieties.” That may be true, but unlike the Classic, the flavor from the packet is a rich, coffee, or rather cappuccino flavor. Despite the fact that it is not stated anywhere, these cigarettes are flavored. The flavor is persistent and pleasant, not at all “chemotic”. In the composition of the bags, tobacco fractions of light yellow, yellow and brown color, with small inclusions of almost black color.

When smoking it turned out that the filter of the cigarette is sweetened. And smoking the cigarette without filter made me realize that the carrier of flavor and aroma is tobacco, because the intensity of flavor has not decreased. The strength of the cigarette is average or slightly lower. The flavor is pleasant and its in moderation, without too much causing rejection. The aroma that remains in the room after smoking does not cause associations with cigarette flavor.

Good tobacco base and quality flavoring. Will be to the taste of fans of flavored cigarettes.

Chapman Gold. The inscription on the packet reads, “The original blend is made from carefully selected Virginia tobacco.” In this cigarette the color of the pouch is more yellow, most likely it consists of Virginia gold, for example. This variety is also flavored – the aroma from the pack is a rich vanilla flavor. The cigarette smells of vanilla and cinnamon, they are also in the flavor. The filter is also sweetened. The strength is below average.

Classic, and in this case also high-quality, flavored cigarettes.

Chapman Red. Like the previous variety, this one is made from Virginias, most likely a blend of different varieties. Red also has a sweet filter, but cherry flavoring or rather cherry pit. The flavoring of this variety also does not cause rejection, everything is very qualitative. The aroma of smoke, during smoking and after, does not cause associations with cigarette smoke. This variety has a strength below average, the smoke is soft and pleasant to others.

The result is a line of quality, mostly flavored, cigarettes. I’m sure it will appeal to those for whom Captan Black is too strong and Richmond is “cheesy”. All varieties are distinguished by the tobacco bag, not just the flavoring. In any case, Von Eiken, on flavoring, “ate the dog”))) You can trust them!
