Dunhill International Cigarettes Review.

Presenting a review of the Cypriot Dunhill. You can buy them from us.

History:

Cigarettes began to be produced in 1982 by British American Tobacco. The name of the brand came from the surname of the founder of the dynasty of entrepreneurs – Alfred Dunhill. His company was divided into two branches: one was engaged in the sale of watches, the other produced cigars and cigarettes. In the 2000s there was a change of design. They began to be supplied to Russia in the 1990s. They were not particularly popular because of the high price, they were considered poncey. The brand is positioned as premium. Now Dunhill in a wide square pack is not supplied to Russia, but other variations of cigarettes are available for the Russian market. Of course, the quality has dropped a lot, both in the Russian and European versions.

Until recently Dunhill was produced in the UK, but now they have moved production to Cyprus.

Design:

In front of us is a wide square tutu with no bevelled corners. The design is in red, there was also a menthol version with a green design, but menthol was banned in Europe this year. In the middle is their corporate crest.

The pack opens unusually for this format – from the top:

The pack itself is two-sectioned, which is quite convenient.

The pack contains 20 100s cigarettes. The filter is ordinary, but dense, and has one ring of perforation on it. A non-smokable rim is present:

Tobacco quality:

From the cigarette and from the pack you can feel the aroma of tobacco, no sweetness, no chemistry in the smell.

The cigarettes are packed very well, they burn for quite a long time.

Smoke of medium softness (you can feel the puff), but nothing irritating, loyal to the mucosa. Smoke density is average.

In the flavour there is only tobacco without any highlights. The flavour is rather average, but tobacco-like. No bitterness is observed.

The strength is average, unfortunately eurolimits have undermined the strength that Dunhill had in the 90s. But it’s enough to get high. In the past, the following strength was indicated on the packet:

Which feels like reality. Nicotine here is not chemical, there is no sharp blow to the head here.

The filter copes with its task.
